FAQ

Everything you need to know before your first visit. Still not sure? Book online or call (08) 6150 7107.

Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book directly with us — no GP referral required for a standard private physiotherapy appointment. Referrals are only needed for specific funding schemes such as a Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan or DVA.

Can I claim on my private health insurance?

Yes. We have HICAPS on-site, so if your policy includes physiotherapy extras you can claim on the spot and only pay the gap. Bring your health-fund card to your appointment.

Do you accept Medicare, DVA or WorkCover?

Medicare and DVA, yes — WorkCover, no. We can see you under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan; note that the Medicare rebate doesn't cover the full session fee, so a gap payment applies. DVA referrals are also welcome. We don't currently take on WorkCover cases — for those a larger clinic with a dedicated admin team is usually a better fit. Please bring your referral or plan details and let us know when you book.

What should I bring and wear to my first appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, so we can assess how you move. Bring your health-fund card and any relevant scans, reports or referrals you already have.

How long is an appointment?

We offer one-hour initial consultations — our most popular and recommended option, giving us time to properly assess the whole movement chain and build your plan. A 30-minute initial is also available, along with one-hour or 30-minute follow-ups, depending on what each client and their plan needs. For context, a typical physiotherapy initial consult runs around 45 minutes and follow-ups anywhere from 20 to 45 — we've set a 30-minute minimum so we can properly look after you, with the full hour available whenever it's needed. Exact times are shown when you book online.

What is the on-site rehab gym?

We have a private, fully-equipped rehab gym on the premises. It means treatment flows straight into loading and performance work under physio guidance — rather than being handed a sheet of exercises and sent on your way.

Is there parking?

Yes — there's free on-site parking at the clinic, 4 York Street, North Perth, plus free street parking all the way along York Street.

What are your opening hours?

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6am–2pm; Tuesday and Thursday 12pm–8pm. Closed weekends.
